Whoop Advanced Labs set to expand beyond the US

Whoop has begun alerting members outside the US that its new Advanced Labs feature is on the way. Users in Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia have started receiving emails saying their access is “coming soon.”

Advanced Labs first launched in the US in September. Even now, access is still rolling out gradually and there’s a waiting list for the blood test. But those in the US who already have results from other providers can upload them, with no need for additional payment or device upgrade.

Expansion starting to take shape

The email being sent out from today confirms that the feature is about to go live in other countries, but doesn’t give an exact timeline. Users are being told to update their app and get ready. In the image, WHOOP shows biomarker overlays such as HRV, cholesterol and hemoglobin, highlighting how results will sync with existing app metrics.

One user in Europe asked the AI chatbot in the Whoop app about timing. According to them, the chatbot responded with “November” as a target. When we tried the same prompt, we only got a generic “coming soon” reply. So make of that what you will.

How users might actually benefit

For most people, lab work happens once or twice a year, and then gets forgotten. By linking that data to sleep, recovery and training trends, Whoop is trying to make it more useful. If you’ve ever wondered whether your low energy is from overtraining or something like iron levels or inflammation, this kind of integration could help surface patterns you’d otherwise miss.

If you’ve received the “coming soon” email, it’s a good sign that your account will be getting the feature in the near future. Until then, make sure the app is fully updated and your results are ready to upload.
