Oura Ring 5 looks ready for launch after major image leak

Oura Ring 5 has leaked again, and this time the images leave very little to guess. The latest leak shows the ring itself, the colour options, the sizing kit, app screens and charging dock ahead of an expected launch on May 28.

The design stays close to the current formula

The new info comes courtesy of WinFuture. it suggest Oura is not tearing up the design book for Ring 5. The new model looks familiar, with a smooth outer shell and the raised internal sensor section that sits against the finger.

The leaked finish lineup includes Brushed Silver, Deep Rose, Stealth, Silver, Gold and Black. That gives Oura a wider jewellery-style spread, including a rose tone that looks warmer than the current darker options. The images also show the sensor modules inside the ring.

Oura is apparently describing Ring 5 as the world’s smallest smart ring. That wording sounds like a size claim rather than a major rethink of the device, so it will be worth seeing the final dimensions once Oura publishes the full spec sheet.

Battery life gets the most useful upgrade

The most practical claim is battery life. The leaked material points to up to one week of use, which would be around two days more than the previous model.

That is the kind of upgrade that fits a smart ring better than another big marketing feature. Oura depends on continuous tracking, especially for sleep, recovery and long-term health trends. The less often users need to remove the ring, the better the data gets.

The leak also claims scratch resistance and water resistance to 100 metres. Which means users can keep it on for swimming, showers and normal use without thinking about it too much.

Oura Ring 5 is also said to collect more than 50 health metrics and insights. The leaked app images mention sleep insights, workout and step tracking, 24/7 heart rate monitoring, daytime stress, Symptom Radar, cycle tracking and AI Advisor. Also shown are longer-term metrics such as Cardiovascular Age, VO2 Max, Cumulative Stress, Resilience, Health Panels, Chronotype and trends across weekly, monthly and yearly views.

The subscription is still part of the story

The leak points to a starting price of 429 euros, which would be 30 euros higher than the previous entry point. On top of that, Oura Membership is shown at 5.99 euros per month, with one free month for new users.

That will remain the dividing line for some buyers. Oura’s app is still one of the stronger parts of the product, but the full experience sits behind the subscription.

The sizing kit appears unchanged in approach. Buyers order the kit first, wear a sizing ring for 24 hours, then use a voucher toward the final ring purchase. The listed sizes are 6 through 13.

The same leak points to pre-orders starting on May 28, with shipping expected from June 4. If that timing holds, Oura Ring 5 is not a distant product tease.

Oura’s own Advisor adds another clue

There is also an odd extra clue from Oura’s own app. A Reddit user asked the in-app Advisor about Ring 5, and the response appeared to mention a June 4, 2026 launch date.

That slightly clashes with the latest leak, which points to May 28 for the reveal and pre-orders, with June 4 as the shipping date. The simplest reading is that May 28 is the announcement, while June 4 is when the ring actually starts reaching buyers.

The more interesting part is the detail. Advisor reportedly described Ring 5 as 40% slimmer than Ring 4, with a titanium shell, six finish options and continuous tracking for over 30 biometrics. That sits close to the leaked marketing images, although the wording differs from the “over 50 health metrics and insights” claim shown elsewhere.

That difference may just come down to Oura separating core biometrics from app-level insights. Still, it is another sign that Ring 5 launch material may already be sitting inside Oura’s own systems.
