Amazfit roadmap reveals AI assistant, MCP and web dashboard

Zepp Health has added some pretty substantial features to its software roadmap. December brings a Personalized AI Assistant and something called Zepp MCP, while a proper desktop web dashboard is pencilled in for January 2027.

A personalized AI assistant starts in the US

Everyone is getting into the AI craze and Zepp Health does not want to be left behind. Their AI assistant is described in the roadmap as offering tailored assessments of daily training goals and progress.

It’s listed for a US beta launch in December 2026, so this won’t be a simultaneous worldwide rollout when it first appears. That’s a fairly normal way to stage a new AI feature, and it matches how most fitness platforms have handled early AI rollouts recently.

Staging it as a US beta gives Zepp Health a smaller group to test the assistant with before any wider rollout decisions get made. It also lines up with December, the same month set aside for Zepp MCP, so the two features are clearly meant to arrive together rather than as separate pushes.

Zepp MCP is the more interesting move

Zepp MCP is another item worth paying attention to here. It is scheduled for that same December window as the assistant. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, a simple way for AI tools to plug into outside data sources.

In practice that could mean a user asking ChatGPT something like how your sleep this week compares to last week, or whether your resting heart rate has been trending up, and getting an answer pulled straight from your Zepp data. Someone training for a race could ask an assistant to summarize their long runs from the past month. We covered how Zepp OS 6 reshaped the software platform earlier this year, and Zepp MCP looks like the next layer being built on top of that same foundation.

The web dashboard follows in January

The third item is more straightforward. A web dashboard is planned for January 2027. This is something that plenty of longtime Zepp Health users have asked for, especially anyone who prefers reviewing training data on a bigger screen.

There is also an interesting connection between all three additions. A personalized assistant interprets the data, MCP potentially opens Zepp Health up to external AI clients, and the web dashboard provides another place for users to explore the information themselves. This company is obviously trying to build a more open and more capable software layer around its watches, which is always a good thing.

The dates should not be treated as guarantees, as roadmap schedules can move before release. But if Zepp Health sticks reasonably close to the current plan, the end of 2026 and beginning of 2027 could bring one of the bigger changes to the Amazfit software ecosystem in a while.
