Upcoming smartwatches & health tech to expect in 2026

Oppo is starting to tease its next smartwatch, the Watch S2, ahead of the official launch on September 22. From the early details, it’s clear they’re going for something slim, light, and useful for everyday health and fitness tracking

Xiaomi is doing the smaller-watch thing again. The company has now shown off a 41mm version of the Watch S5, with a much lighter body, up to 14 days of battery life and a launch planned for late-September.

Model A2570 has appeared in regulatory databases in Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea and the EAEU. Malaysia’s SIRIM filing names it T-REX DUAL SOLAR, while earlier Zepp Health app code revealed solar charging support.

Google captured unpublished Suunto copy naming both watches. It says the Race 3 S comes first and the larger model follows later in 2026.

Garmin Connect 5.26 added “Enduro_4” to its device registry with internal ID 5179 and multisport category flags.

Garmin has left a few names lying around where it probably did not expect many people to look. Russian regulatory paperwork explicitly lists the unannounced Garmin tactix 9, tactix 9 Ballistics Edition and Enduro 4.

Samsung’s FCC filing confirms model SM-R391 as the Galaxy Fit 4. REV2.0 hardware was tested in July, with Bluetooth 5.4 and production charging components also documented.

An Indonesian telecommunications certification issued to Garmin lists the model as “CIRQA SMART RING.” Garmin has not announced a smart ring, and the entry could still be an administrative error, but the wording is specific enough to put it on the radar.

There is a direct reference to something called the “CIRQA Smart Band Pro” in the APK, along with clues pointing to two physical buttons, audio feedback and spoken stats.

Samsung left the Galaxy Watch9 Classic out of its July launch, and for a while it looked like that was the end of the story. Now the missing watch has popped up in a Russian regulatory declaration, listed by name alongside the already released Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2.

Polar Pacer X appeared as a new string in Polar Flow 7.35.0. There are no associated regulatory filings yet.

A mystery screen-equipped fitness band appears in multiple Google Pixel 11 ads but does not match any current Fitbit. Its larger, more rounded display makes a next-generation Charge a plausible explanation, although Google has not identified the device. There has also been a FCC filing that could pertain to that device.

The string SUPPORT_BIND_FALCON2025 appeared among device-support flags in Zepp Health 10.0.8. No regulatory filing has surfaced.

Our teardown of the latest Polar Flow app has revealed references to what appears to be an unreleased Polar H12 heart rate sensor. The name shows up in several parts of the app code.

Suunto has explored a bicep or wrist-worn heart-rate band for sleep, recovery and training. The project has not been approved for release.
