MyLite: wearable LED nightlight and safety solution

Rayo: a bicycle tail-light designed for the modern cyclist

Nightlights really haven’t changed all that much over the years. Millions of parents use them when they put their little ones to sleep. But these cute lights could be contributing to difficult bed times and frequent waking. If they are left on overnight they could be doing more harm than good.

MyLite is a wearable LED wrist-light. Its inventor, Phil Barker, says his grand-daughter had trouble sleeping with regular nightlights, and this is what inspired him to come up with a wearable solution.

Its a simple concept. Just strap the lightweight band around the wrist, as you would any fitness tracker. MyLite comes with a easy, single button activation, there is an auto-off timer, two illumination settings and 3-4 weeks of use on a single charge.

In addition to serving as a night-light for little ones, the wearable can be handy in other nightly situations, too. This includes changing baby dipers, checking on your children, feeding a baby, getting out of bed without waking your spouse, bathroom trips, getting dressed in the dark and more. The list is endless. MyLite gives you just enough light to move around and perform tasks whilst not disturbing others.
