Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro launches: Longer battery, sleeker design
Mobvoi has released the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro, an update to their popular Wear OS smartwatch line. The timepiece boasts a streamlined design and advanced fitness tracking features. Plus battery life has received a slight boost from its predecessor.
The successor that surpasses
As noted in our hands-on review, the TicWatch Pro 5 established itself as a formidable Wear OS offering, thanks to its innovative dual-display technology, robust build quality with military-grade durability, and a comprehensive set of health and fitness features. In fact, we awarded it an excellent 8.3 out of a max 10 rating.
Now, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro takes the strengths of its predecessor and pushes them to new heights.
The most significant upgrade with the Enduro is its battery life. Those with the watch can venture confidently for up to 90 hours in Smart Mode. This translates to nearly four full days of regular use with features like continuous heart rate monitoring and notifications enabled. Switching to the streamlined Essential Mode extends this to a remarkable 45 days of continuous use.
Imagine a month and a half-long backpacking trip without needing to worry about finding a charger – that’s the kind of freedom the Enduro offers. Most remarkable of all, this is an a fully fledged Wear OS watch.
This battery efficiency is paired with a refined design; the Enduro has a bit less depth to it at less than 12mm thick features a redesigned rotating crown for smoother interactions. Despite the slimmer profile, the device retains the familiar, rugged aesthetic that TicWatch users appreciate.
Conquer any terrain
As before, the design meets US-MIL-STD 810H certifications, and along with 5ATM water resistance, ensures the smartwatch weathers harsh conditions. Whether you’re braving a downpour on a hike or taking a tumble on a mountain bike ride, the Enduro is up to the task.
Its scratch-resistant sapphire crystal display guarantees optimal visibility, whether you’re navigating city streets or traversing demanding trails. No more squinting at your wrist in bright sunlight or worrying about accidental scratches from everyday wear and tear. That’s an improvement from the Corning Gorilla cover-glass of its predecessor.
Workout smarter, not harder
Mobvoi has doubled down on fitness tracking with the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro. Users can now directly integrate real-time exercise data (heart rate, pace, distance, and more) from third-party apps like Strava, adidasRunning, and Nike Run Club onto the Ultra-low-power Display. This makes things easier as it eliminates the need to switch between the main display and the workout app, providing workout insights with just a glance at your wrist.
The focus on fitness doesn’t stop there. Mobvoi says its TicExercise suite has been overhauled, providing a more expansive UI with easier-to-read metrics, an increased array of professional workout modes tailored for various fitness goals, and enhanced outdoor sports tracking capabilities with integrated GPS and distance tracking. The Enduro even includes a new snoring detection feature in the Mobvoi Health app, promoting restorative sleep – for both you and your partner!
Powered by Wear OS
The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro’s versatility extends beyond its dedicated health and fitness features. As mentioned, it packs Wear OS by Google. Which means you can navigate with Google Maps, make payments using Google Pay, discover countless apps on Google Play and much more.
