Oppo Watch X2 Mini gets April 10 launch date & official images
Oppo has officially unveiled the Watch X2 Mini in a set of press images, with a confirmed launch date of April 10. A number of additional images from other sources have also surfaced, all showing a slim, fashion-focused design that clearly stands apart from the more rugged Watch X2 model.
A more refined look than the Watch X2
The Watch X2 Mini takes a different approach than its larger sibling. While the Watch X2 looks built for adventure, with a chunky frame, visible bezel markings and sport-focused bands, the Mini keeps things light and stylish.

It ditches the outdoor gear aesthetic for a more refined look, with a polished gold, black or silver case, smooth lines, and elegant straps. The crown is slightly more subtle too, and the overall profile is flatter and more compact. The design seems clearly targeted at those who want a wearable that doubles as an everyday accessory.
It’s expected to come in a 42mm case, so something for those with smaller wrists. Though the exact size hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.

Surprising power under the hood
Unofficial details point to a 60Hz AMOLED display with LTPO tech for dynamic refresh rate adjustment and a peak brightness of up to 2,200 nits. That type of visibility is right up there with the best smartwatches.
Powering everything is a combination of the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip alongside a BES2800 low-power co-processor. This pairing is designed to support a hybrid software experience with Wear OS and RTOS working together to stretch battery life to three days under normal use or up to eight days when power saving mode is on.

The device is also expected to include 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. This, once again, puts it right up there with the more premium offerings in the category.
Health features haven’t been detailed yet, but the usual array of sensors is assumed — likely covering heart rate, sleep tracking, and step count at a minimum. The watch will reportedly carry 5 ATM water resistance along with IP68 certification, meaning it should offer decent water protection.
Launch timing and what to expect
The promotional image confirms the launch event will take place on April 10 at 19:00, likely local China time. That lines up with Oppo’s spring release habits. It’s expected the device will launch in China first, with global availability following at a later date.
