Motorola smartwatch and earbuds leak hints at stylish new lineup
Motorola could soon release a new pair of open-ear earbuds with a crystal-embellished, clip-on design, alongside a square-faced smartwatch featuring basic health tracking. Leaked images show both devices in detail, the Moto Watch Fit and Moto Loop Earbuds, suggesting an official launch may not be far off.
Motorola’s open-ear earbuds lean into style
The leaked earbuds stand out right away. Motorola appears to be going for a fashion-forward approach with a glossy white gold finish and what looks like embedded crystals. These earbuds don’t sit in your ear canal. Instead, they use an open-ear, clip-on design.
There’s also a familiar name involved. Just like the Moto Buds+, these new earbuds show Motorola once again teaming up with Bose. That hints at some level of audio tuning or involvement, even if the earbuds themselves are being marketed more for looks than high-end sound.
The charging case is compact and shaped similarly to Apple’s AirPods case. It’s polished, minimalist, and fits the overall premium aesthetic. No details yet on audio specs, battery life, or smart features. Pricing and release dates are also under wraps, but the images look press-ready.

Motorola Mobility LLC, now under Lenovo, appears to be handling the hardware for the earbuds. While they aren’t confirmed yet, the combination of brand tie-ins and polished promotional shots usually means a product launch is close.

A square-faced watch with a refreshed look
Alongside the earbuds, the leak includes a square-dial smartwatch. The design is straightforward, with a single physical button, a clean black frame, and a nylon strap. It’s likely to be a follow-up or alternative to the Moto Watch 70, though with slightly upgraded design elements.
On the screen, you can see the basics: heart rate, calories burned, and step count. These are expected from any entry-level fitness tracker, so the watch seems aimed at casual health tracking rather than serious training.
The watch is most likely the work of CE Brands Inc., which holds the license for Motorola-branded smartwatches. Past models have leaned toward affordability and simplicity, and this one appears to be in the same vein. No information yet on whether it includes GPS, offline music, or app integration.
Leak details and what it all means
The source of the leak is Evan Blass, who posted the images on X. These aren’t blurry shots or internal documents — they’re polished lifestyle photos. That usually means marketing assets are prepared, and an official announcement may not be far off.
Motorola’s recent wearables haven’t aimed for high-end dominance. Instead, the focus seems to be on solid basic features wrapped in good-looking hardware. This leak continues that approach.
