Amazfit ZenBuds raise more than $400,000 in three days on Indiegogo

Smartduvet Breeze: self-making bed with dual-zone climate control

Huami has made available the Amazfit ZenBuds on Indiegogo three days ago. In this short time, the earbuds have raised more than $400,000 on the crowdfunding platform.

The biometric headphones were originally announced at CES 2020 in January alongside the Amazfit PowerBuds, Amazfit AirRun and Huami’s HomeStudio. The first two are available to buy now in certain countries with the last yet to launch.

Amazfit ZenBuds are a more sophisticated version of the PowerBuds, Huami’s answer to Apples AirBuds. Similar in design, they are meant to promote healthy sleep and mindfulness. Each bud weights a mere 1.78 grams.

ZenBuds filter out outside noise and play tunes and natural sounds to lull you into slumber. There’s a large library of sleep-inducing sounds to choose from in the accompanying smartphone app. They’ll even keep tabs on your sleep, monitor your heart rate and wake you up in the morning. Battery life is 12 hours on single charge and 8 days with the case.

Interestingly, the earbuds are able to figure out when you fall asleep and will automatically switch off. That makes them a great sleep companion, helping you get a good night’s rest. The soft, flexible and ultra-stretchy ear tips have a snug fit helping to keep them in place while you are sleeping.

The Buds come with four different sizes of skin-soft silicone ear tips. Useful as Huami says most people don’t know that the average person has one ear slightly larger than the other.

Starting at just $69, the biometric headphones are available now on Indiegogo . Backers can expect ZenBuds to be delivered to their doorstep in September. Crowdfunding projects can be risky but Huami is a large company with a great track record so this is one project we are fairly sure will deliver.
