RingConn Gen 2 Air is coming in March with a solid discount if you act fast

RingConn just confirmed on its website that the Gen 2 Air is coming, and it’s hitting the market globally on March 21st. First teased back at CES 2025, this new version is a slightly stripped-down take on the Gen 2, but it keeps all the key features while knocking the price down to $199. If you act fast you can get a $30 discount on this price.

What’s different about the RingConn Gen 2 Air?

The company had to make a few trade-offs to bring the price lower. Instead of the Gen 2 titanium build, the Air version is made from titanium steel, which makes it a fraction lighter. Battery life is slightly reduced to up to 10 days—about two days less than the Gen 2. The Gen 2 Air also ditches the charging case in favour of a USB-C-powered charging dock.

The biggest feature missing? Sleep apnea detection. If you were looking forward to that, you’ll need to stick with the Gen 2. Other than that, it’s pretty much the same experience. Gen 2 Air still has that slim, comfortable design. It’s also water-resistant up to 100m (IP68), so you don’t have to worry about getting it wet.

Color-wise, you get a choice between dune gold and galaxy silver, plus seven different protective ring covers if you want to mix things up.

No subscription, just AI-powered health tracking

One of RingConn’s biggest selling points is that it doesn’t charge a monthly subscription. That hasn’t changed with the Gen 2 Air. You still get access to all the health tracking without extra fees. The new device works via the same app – so no difference there.

The AI Health Partner feature, introduced in late 2024, is also included. It analyzes your health data and provides real-time feedback, helping you build better long-term habits.

We covered both generations of the ring and found that it is one of the best options out there. As noted in our hands-on review of the Gen 2 device, that one is available for $299. Gen 1 can be picked up for just $169.

If you’re thinking about getting the Gen 2 Air, there’s a way to save some cash. Just subscribe to RingConn’s email list before March 7th, and you’ll get a $30 discount code in your inbox. The code will be valid when the Gen 2 Air launches on March 21st. Find it on the RingConn website.
