Huawei Watch Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro renders leak with fresh details

Huawei’s Watch Fit 4 and a new Pro variant are getting ready to make their debut. Renders of both devices have surfaced online thanks to a Lithuanian retailer that jumped the gun a little too early, showing 1.82-inch AMOLED screens, the new TruSense health system on the Pro, and pricing from €219 to €299.

Leaked images reveal what is coming

The Watch Fit 4 will be the direct successor to last year’s model, staying true to the lightweight, square design people have come to expect. What is new this time around is the addition of a Pro version. Both watches feature a 1.82-inch AMOLED display, so screen size will not be a deciding factor between them.

The Pro model seems to pull ahead when it comes to hardware under the hood. It is expected to run the brand new TruSense health monitoring system. The regular Fit 4 will stick with the older generation of sensors.

Looking at the renders, the two devices do show subtle design differences. The Pro model opts for flat sides and a more pronounced bulge on the right side, sandwiched between the rotating crown and a customizable button. This suggests there might be extra sensors or possibly improved ergonomics baked into the design.

The straps also tell a story of their own. While both versions are likely to have interchangeable bands, the Pro gets a sportier, slightly more rugged treatment. There are Black and Blue sporty options, along with a fancier Green leather version that adds a touch of style. The standard Watch Fit 4, meanwhile, will come in four colours: Black, Grey, Purple, and White.

Pricing and launch timeline

According to the leak, the Huawei Watch Fit 4 will sell for €219 regardless of the colour you choose. The Fit 4 Pro will set you back €299. These price points put them in line with mid-range fitness-focused smartwatches from other brands.

If earlier certification documents are anything to go by, it makes sense that both these devices are now appearing in retailer databases. The Watch Fit 4 received green lights from the Eurasian Economic Commission and the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority earlier this year. Two model numbers were spotted, SYA-B09 and SYA-B19, hinting at multiple versions or region-specific variants. The paperwork also showed up on a Chinese database, adding more weight to a near-simultaneous global launch theory.

It is widely expected that Huawei will unveil the Watch Fit 4 lineup on May 15th, during the same Berlin event where the Watch 5 series will make its first appearance. That would be almost exactly one year after the Watch Fit 3, keeping to the company’s usual upgrade cycle.

What to watch for

With the Watch Fit 4 and Pro, Huawei seems to be tackling some of the criticisms levelled at earlier models. Past generations were praised for design and display quality but sometimes fell short in heart rate accuracy and sleep tracking depth. The move to upgrade the TruSense sensor platform should hopefully address this.

Another open question is software. HarmonyOS runs the show on Huawei’s wearables, and while it is smooth, app availability has been a sticking point. It would be a big plus if Huawei takes this opportunity to expand third-party app support or at least bring a few new native apps into the mix.

It will also be worth keeping an eye on battery life figures. The Watch Fit series has historically done well here, and an upgraded health tracking system could either improve efficiency or make it harder to hit those long standby times.
