CMF Watch 3 Pro first images appear alongside specs

Just days after the first retail signals appeared, the CMF Watch 3 Pro has now reportedly leaked on Xianyu, China’s equivalent of Ebay. The listing offers a near-complete spec sheet and the first images of the device.

First images confirm name and design details

The upcoming timepiece is referred to as “CMF Watch 3 Pro” in the Xianyu listing. This is a little strange, since last year’s model was called “Watch Pro 2.” To remind, that one launched in July 2024. What’s interesting is that a recent IMDA regulatory filing also uses the same “Watch 3 Pro” naming, which adds credence to the listing on Xianyu being genuine.

Photos show a circular watch face with a single button on the right-hand side. The listing describes the casing as having an “aluminium alloy midframe.” The design language is similar to the previous model, although there may have been tweaks to the physical button functionality. Hard to tell from the images if there has been a narrowing of the bezels.

A larger screen and dual-band GPS

According to the new info, the CMF Watch 3 Pro features a 1.43 inch AMOLED screen with automatic brightness adjustment. That would make it slightly larger than the 1.32 inch display found on the Pro 2. No resolution figures are provided in the leak.

The new model is said to include dual-band GPS with support for five satellite systems. The Pro 2 also supported multiple systems, but this adds dual-band capability to the mix – it translates into better accuracy. Battery life is stated to be “up to 13 days on one charge,” an increase over the 11 days listed for its predecessor.

The watch also supports over 130 sports modes, according to the listing. This is 20 more than before. A new feature described as a “custom running coach and summaries to help achieve fitness goals” is mentioned under the smart functions section.

Same strategy, higher ambitions

The Xianyu listing shows the device in dark grey, which matches the earlier leak. That previous info put the price of the upcoming model at €99. For comparison, the CMF Watch Pro 2 launched at €69. The upgrades to screen size, satellite connectivity and battery life would justify such a price increase.

While the new watch has not yet appeared on CMF’s channels, the combination of product images, detailed specifications, and a matching name in the IMDA filing adds credibility to the listing. We expect an official launch any day now.
