Amazfit Bip 6 joins the ZeppOS 5 club with latest firmware
Amazfit Bip 6 is getting its biggest firmware update since launch. Version 3.2.10.1 bumps the device to ZeppOS 5 and brings Flow 2.0 and Jet Lag Manager into the mix.
Bip 6 joins the OS 5 club
Until now, Amazfit Bip 6 was running ZeppOS 4.5. That’s now changed with version 3.2.10.1, a firmware update that weighs in at just over 18MB. After installing it, the watch moves to ZeppOS 5. This brings it into the same tier as devices like the Active 2 (Square) and the Balance 2, as the only Amazfit watches running on the latest version of the operating system.

Most watches in the Zepp Health lineup are still stuck on OS 3 or 4, so this puts Bip 6 ahead of the curve. It’s a welcome step that should unlock new features going forward. Some of them are arriving immediately, others a little later.
Jet Lag Manager and Zepp Flow 2.0 are both supported as part of the update, although they’re not yet available in the on-watch app store. According to Zepp, both apps should go live before July 22nd. The new Flow system is a more capable assistant layer that lets users interact more naturally with the watch. The Jet Lag Manager, meanwhile, is aimed at travellers. It adapts sleep and exposure schedules based on flight data and destination.

A quick recap of what Bip 6 offers
The Amazfit Bip 6 launched at the end of March 2025 as the latest entry in the company’s long-running affordable tracker line. It follows the familiar rectangular design, with a lightweight plastic shell and silicone strap. This version brought a few hardware upgrades over its predecessor.
The display is slightly larger and sharper than the Bip 5, and there’s a bump in both satellite positioning and health tracking. You now get dual-band GNSS and a more advanced BioTracker PPG sensor. Battery life also benefits from better efficiency.
But it’s this latest firmware update that adds more value on the software side. It will be worth checking again after July 22nd to see how well Flow 2.0 and Jet Lag Manager actually perform on the Bip 6. But even without those apps immediately available, the operating system bump alone makes this a worthwhile upgrade.
