Pixel Watch 4 leaks reveal promo video & images ahead of launch
Google’s next smartwatch has shown its face. High-res images, marketing clips and a spec sheet for the Pixel Watch 4 have surfaced ahead of the expected August 20th release date.
The source is well-known US leaker Evan Blass, who has shared official marketing material which even includes a branded one-pager listing all the key features. This is a big leap from the grainy, logo-covered renders seen in earlier leaks. It really leaves nothing to the imagination.
Key specifications from the data sheet
There are two models again, a 41 and 45 mm. The larger model is said to last up to 40 hours on a charge. The smaller one offers a still-decent 30 hours. So that’s a slight improvement on the current generation. Charging is faster too, with 25 percent quicker top-ups promised by the new system.

The screen has apparently received a boost, with peak brightness hitting 3,000 nits. That should be enough for clear visibility even in bright sun. And while the shape hasn’t changed, the new Pixel Watch seems slightly more refined than its predecessor.

Blass’s leak confirms a suite of health features – basically everything that Fitbit has on offer. There’s ECG, SpO2, respiratory rate, and heart rate variability tracking. You’ll also get dual-frequency GPS, which helps with accuracy when running in built-up areas or under tree cover.

There’s mention of over 40 sports modes and real-time performance data, which puts the device more in line with what Fitbit used to offer. It looks like Google wants to close the gap between smart features and fitness functionality.

The Pixel Watch 4 will also lean more into Gemini, Google’s AI assistant. In the marketing examples, you can ask it to pull up a playlist just by moving your wrist or speaking a short prompt. That gesture-first approach ties in with other Gemini integrations already making their way into Android and the wider Google ecosystem.
A similar approach
Google seems to be sticking with a similar design approach, but with better internal tech. From what’s visible in the images, the strap system remains proprietary. It’s not clear yet if any backward compatibility with older bands will be offered.

In the US, buyers will reportedly get two years of free LTE via Google Fi Wireless. That perk is unlikely to be offered in Europe or elsewhere. But it signals that Google continues to treat the Pixel Watch as more than just a fitness device. Safety features like fall detection and emergency SOS are getting more attention too.
The volume and quality of these leaks suggest there will be few surprises left when the Pixel Watch 4 is officially revealed. That’s less than two weeks away now.
