Reebok shifts away from the wrist with its new Smart Ring
Reebok is shifting gears with a new take on fitness tracking. The just-launched Reebok Smart Ring moves health and performance monitoring from the wrist to the finger, and links everything together with its new One Score system.
Reebok joins the smart ring space
Reebok has officially entered the smart ring space with its own offering. The device was launched in sync with a broader brand move, including a global tie-up with F45 Training. The aim is to bring data-driven recovery and training insights to both gym-goers and everyday users.
The company is trying to carve out its own niche by combining real-time biometric tracking with a simplified scoring system. That score, called the “One Score,” is the centrepiece of the experience. It distills daily metrics like heart rate variability, sleep quality, activity, and temperature shifts into a single number. The idea is to make it easier to understand whether your body is primed for training or needs more recovery.

Built for daily wear and longer sessions
The Reebok Smart Ring has a durable titanium shell and comes in three colours: matte black, matte silver, and shiny gold. There are nine sizes on offer, and Reebok encourages buyers to go through a sizing kit before ordering the actual device. That kit comes with a $10 voucher for use on the final purchase and is non-refundable.

Battery life lands in the 5 to 7-day range, depending on usage and ring size. Recharging takes under two hours, and the charging dock uses a 5V input. The ring is waterproof up to 5ATM and can handle operating temperatures from -10°C to 52°C, which makes it suitable for most climates and training settings. The whole thing is designed to stay on your finger for sleep, training, and everything in between.

It’s all tied to the Reebok Fitness App
The software experience is anchored in the Reebok Fitness App. Users get a one-year membership bundled with the purchase. This gives access to personalized coaching, exclusive content, and tailored data insights. That could be especially useful for those already plugged into F45 Training or other structured workout programs. Coaches and gym partners can also tap into the One Score system, which is being pitched as a shared language for recovery and readiness.
There’s no separate display on the ring itself. All interactions and visuals run through the companion app. The ring uses Bluetooth 5.1 to sync data and can store around a week’s worth of stats even if not synced daily.
A new direction for Reebok
What stands out most about this ring is the decision to strip back the data and focus on one clear number. The One Score system avoids the usual overload of sleep graphs, stress charts, and unreadable HRV curves. You just get a simple daily number that reflects how ready your body is to train, or how much it needs to recover.
Beyond that, there is little to distinguish this ring from other rings on the market. Probably, part of the appeal will be the brand name. Reebok carries weight in fitness circles, and that alone might be enough to nudge some buyers who are already on the fence about trying a smart ring.
You can order the $249 Smart Ring via the Reebok website.
