Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm availability starts October 25

The smaller version of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro is finally landing. After being teased at launch and spotted in official materials, the Black Gold 44mm model goes on sale starting October 25. The Arctic-Gold variant will be available in the first half of November.

A more compact take on the rugged watch

This is not a new watch, just a more compact version of the one released in early September. The 48mm model has been available globally for more than a month, but the 44mm variant has been missing in action until now. Zepp Health confirmed back at IFA that both sizes would launch, but didn’t offer a clear date for the smaller one until now.

A teaser posted on Xiaohongshu confirms the official release begins on October 25. That lines up with the company’s original September statement.

The watch shown in the teaser image looks similar to the Black Gold edition of the larger version. Just with the slimmer 44.8mm profile and reduced weight of about 47 grams. This model uses a 1.32-inch AMOLED display instead of the 1.5-inch screen found on the 48mm version, but most of the other internals are shared.

There’s no word yet on which regions will get stock first. Availability will likely begin in China and select European countries, with other markets following shortly after. But that hasn’t been confirmed. You can check availability in your region on October 25th on this link.

Same features, more wrist-friendly

Despite the smaller footprint, the 44mm model doesn’t cut corners. You still get the full titanium and sapphire glass build, dual-band GPS, offline maps, a real LED flashlight, speaker and mic, music storage, Zepp OS 5.0, along with support for BioCharge and advanced sports modes. The only real changes are screen size, weight, battery capacity (640mAh vs 700mAh), and strap width (20mm vs 22mm).

In terms of pricing, nothing official has been announced yet. But given how Zepp Health has handled other dual-size launches, it’s reasonable to assume the 44mm model will carry the same $399 price tag as the larger one. If that holds true, buyers will simply be choosing based on wrist size and visual preference.

This is the first time we are getting multiple size options for the T-Rex line. Finally an option for those with slimmer wrists. We recently published our hands-on review of the 48mm version, so don’t forget to check that out.
