Wake BioCharge and smarter dive prep arrive on Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro

Firmware version 4.1.6.7 is now live for the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro, bringing deeper integration with the BioCharge platform and a new diving interface. The update also improves navigation re-routing, screen brightness adaptation and workout data accuracy.

BioCharge integration expands

To start off, now there are two new sections in the BioCharge app: Wake BioCharge and Daily Events. These give users a more structured way to review energy trends and activity alignment across the day. It’s another small step toward positioning BioCharge as a daily dashboard, not just a sleep or recovery score.

There’s also a new page labeled “Waiting for Descent” added to the diving mode. This appears during recreational dives and likely supports a more controlled pre-dive routine or better preparation when descending into depth zones.

Navigation and display tweaks

Route planning during navigation now adapts more fluidly when you veer off course. The rerouting logic has been improved to re-plan faster and more accurately, which helps if you’re navigating unfamiliar terrain or following a GPX track during a hike.

Display responsiveness also gets a lift. The raise-to-wake gesture has been tuned for quicker feedback, especially useful during workouts when glancing at metrics mid-session. Zepp Health also modified the screen’s automatic brightness settings, allowing the display to react faster when lighting conditions change.

More accurate data and smoother use

Sensor interpretation during workouts now reports physical fitness status values with better real-time precision. While the company doesn’t go into technical depth here, this likely affects metrics such as Training Load, VO2 Max estimation, or Recovery Time.

There’s also a tweak to the Maps app. The startup interaction has been streamlined, so users should get into their planned routes or location views with less delay.

Multimedia playback behavior has been improved too. The system now auto-pauses media if the watch volume is set to zero.

That’s pretty much it for this time around. A few other refinements round out the build. Here is the full change-log:

  • Added Wake BioCharge and Daily Events pages in the BioCharge app
  • Added “Waiting for Descent” page in Recreational diving mode
  • Improved automatic route re-planning after deviation during navigation
  • Optimised wrist raise-to-wake responsiveness for daily use and workouts
  • Increased accuracy of real-time physical fitness status values during activities
  • Streamlined initialization interaction for the Map app
  • Multimedia playback now auto-pauses when watch volume is set to 0
  • Enhanced auto-brightness adjustment for faster ambient light adaptation
  • Fixed system crashes in specific scenarios to improve stability
  • Fixed other known issues
