Amazfit Balance 2 XT gets new regulatory nod in Malaysia
Just a few days after popping up in EMVCo certification files, the Amazfit Balance 2 XT has now made an appearance on Malaysia’s SIRIM database. The device is listed under model number A2547, which matches earlier regulatory leaks and confirms the XT’s forward momentum toward international release.
More signs the XT edition is close
This latest SIRIM filing comes on the heels of the earlier EMVCo certification, which confirmed NFC support and Zepp OS 4.0. That said, the device will likely ship with Zepp OS 5 pre-installed.
While the Malaysian listing does not name the product explicitly, the model number is consistent with earlier documentation tied to the Balance 2 XT referencing it with the A2547 moniker. That match alone strongly suggests the certification is for the same Titanium variant that has been floating around in regulatory circles.

We still haven’t seen official confirmation from Zepp Health, but the sequence of certifications points to a familiar pattern. The company has often followed up initial launches with slightly more premium versions, sometimes adding titanium or stainless steel builds, and sometimes bundling in NFC for payments in more regions. Also in the works is, reportedly, a special Runner variant of Balance 2.
Same internals, premium shell
Our expectation is that the Balance 2 XT will carry the same internal specs as the original model. That means Zepp Health’s new Huangshan 3 chip, the upgraded sixth-gen heart rate sensor, improved storage and battery life, and the full set of software tricks like the jet lag assistant and magnifier. The main change will likely be the titanium case, which could bring both a different finish and a small bump in weight.
There’s nothing so far to suggest the XT will include software features beyond what the standard Balance 2 is already getting. It might support the new Biocharge feature that first appeared on the Helio Strap, though that’s expected to reach other Amazfit models as well.
No pricing or launch date yet
Apart from one dubious retail listing there is no other info that is currently available. But it’s safe to assume the XT variant will cost more than the standard version, given the materials. But without formal specs or a release date, the rest is still guesswork.
At this point, it seems we’re waiting on a global unveiling or at least a credible retail leak. Between the EMVCo and SIRIM filings, there’s little doubt that Balance 2 XT is real. Now it’s just a matter of when it arrives.
