Beddit, the company behind the successful Beddit Sleep Tracker, has announced it is launching the third generation of its flagship product. The Beddit 3 Sleep Tracker will be available on Beddit’s own website on Oct 4th for $149 and Amazon (check price).
The Finland-based outfit was founded in 2006 to offer sleep tracking solutions for both consumers and professionals. Beddit uses ballistocardiography, through an ultra-thin force-sensing strip, to measure nighttime activity without any wearable sensors.
You put the Beddit sensor under your bed sheet and sleep on it – and check your sleep data from your smart phone or from the Beddit web app daily, weekly or what ever fits you best. Beddit Smart tracks your sleep time, sleeping patterns, resting heart rate, breathing frequency and snoring time. Utilising your sleep data and personal details set on your profile Beddit Smart coaches you towards better sleep and healthier life.
The third generation of the product is the first dedicated sleep tracker integrated with eClinicalWorks and Healow, the largest Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) service in the United States with more than 115,000 physicians across all 50 states.
“The Beddit 3 Sleep Tracker continues Beddit’s leadership in providing the most accurate and comprehensive sleep tracker with nothing to wear,” said Lasse Leppäkorpi, Co-founder and CEO of Beddit.
“It is the only sleep tracker that continuously measures sleep, heart rate, breathing, and snoring in detail. The new temperature and humidity measurements provide a complete understanding of the sleeping environment.”
