Naptime: the first smart eyeshade with EEG technology

Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety. Even a 20-minute snooze session boosts your alertness, productivity, and mood.

To lull you to sleep, the device uses lossless HI-FI digital headphones that play music from your devices to match your brainwaves and mood. The intelligent music library evolves over time as the app discovers which audio works best.

Electrically conductive silver fabric touch your skin to detect your brain’s electrical signals as you fall asleep. EEG stands for electroencephalogram, which detects the electrical activity in your brain and records your brain waves.

The data is communicated to the Naptime app which replaces music with white noise when it determines you are asleep. This blocks sound from the outside world. When it comes to waking up, the device picks the light sleep phase instead of deep sleep, so that you feel awake, refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the day.

Naptime also doubles up as a sleep monitor. It tracks how long you sleep, how long it takes you to fall asleep, and sleep cycle curves. You also get a ‘Nap Score’ – sleep quality based on brainwave frequency and tips on how to improve your kip time.
