The research was conducted by Malardalen University (MDU), in partnership with academic institutions in Finland, France, and the United Kingdom. Published in the scientific journal Futures, the study illuminates the possibility of older adults maintaining health comparable to those in their 40s, a feat made possible by swift technological progress. In fact, people in developed countries could typically have lifespans ranging from 100 to 120 years in the coming half-century.

The combination of AI and wearable gadgets is poised to play a critical role in extending human life beyond its current limits. Wearable health-tracking technologies are likely to become increasingly prevalent, forming an integral part of this paradigm shift. 

A rising number of people are already utilising these gadgets to monitor their health status.
